Grocery start-up Gopuff partners with U.K. retail giant Morrisons

American instant delivery start-up Gopuff said Friday it has partnered with British grocery chain Morrisons to deliver items to people’s doors in minutes.
The multi-year agreement is seeing GoPuff sell products from Morrisons through its app in over 20 cities across the U.K. Morrisons will act as the wholesaler to GoPuff, delivering essential goods from a network of small warehouses known as dark stores.
Walmart is developing its drone-delivery service to hit 4 million households

This year, Walmart is developing drone delivery across six states, which makes it possible for many customers to get some diapers or dinner ingredients that can be delivered in 30 minutes or less.
Through the expansion with operator DroneUp, the big-box retailer said it would be able to hit 4 million households in parts of Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.

Volvo to produce a new Polestar 3 electric SUV in South Carolina

Swedish carmaker Volvo is planning to produce a new premium SUV for its electric Polestar brand at a plant in Charleston, South Carolina, says the company.
It will be the first domestically produced vehicle for Polestar, formed in 2017 by Volvo Cars, based in China’s parent company, known as Geely Holding Group. It also is one of the first electric vehicles, even though not the first, produced in the U.S by Volvo.
